The 5-Ingredient Brain Shake

For those mornings when you just can’t get yourself to eat eggs or the other animal protein that your brain and metabolism so dearly need for steady energy and focus.

Chocolate Primal Blueberry olive oil shake

Make and drink within 60 minutes of waking to keep your blood sugar, brain and gut steady for the day. 

Chocolate Primal Blueberry olive oil shake

  • One scoop of chocolate, Equip brand grass-fed prime protein powder (or another primal protein powder)

  • ½ cup frozen blueberries

  • One tablespoon ground flax seeds

  • ¾ -1 cup full-fat coconut milk

  • One tablespoon of olive oil 

  • Generous pinch of salt 

Put all ingredients in a blender.  Blend until thick and creamy, and add water if needed.

Protein steadies our cortisol (protein)

Fat stabilizes blood sugar (coconut milk, olive oil and flax seeds)

Polyphenols calm neuroinflammation (blueberries)
